Tribute to JFK Jr

A Tribute To John Kennedy Jr.

A plane heads out late summer night

Aboard it …John Kennedy Jr flew

Off to the wedding of a loved one

His plane was soon long overdue

With his sister-in- law and his wife

Anticipating their plans to celebrate

Till Tragedy came…in the blink of an eye

an instant left them all to face fate

Chorus

When will the curse of the Kennedy’s end

Another member…. is robbed of his prime..

The nation mourns a family’s loss once again

All taken from the hands of father time

As pieces of wreckage wash up on shore

With each hour passing, hope fades away

Emotions of family forced to spiral down

From shades of glory to shades of gray

I can picture a little boy in my mind

Who witnessed his father’s own tragedy.

His daddy is now the first to greet him

As his soul escapes the grasp of the sea

Chorus

When will the curse of the Kennedy’s end

Another member.. is robbed of his prime

The nation mourns a family’s loss once again

All taken from the hands of father time
