Peace Within

Peace Within

When I try to do things on my own

Leaving God out of the plan

I find myself sinking down deep

as if, I’m in quick sand

My thoughts when not on his blood

the suffering he did for me

Are blinded by things of this world

With Christ, I can see

All things through him can be done

he can take my worries away

Transforming me into his likeness

If I will humbly pray

Pains from the past or hurts of today

Life brings its share of harms

But with faith he will comfort me

in the crevice of his arms

Paradise is only a breath away

when service here is done

Till then, peace is found within

in the Spirit of the Son
