Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Everyone has some though
Get something on your mind
Hard to let it go?
At its best, it is thought provoking
Ideas from thin air
Planning becomes second nature
Who, what, when, why, where?
Good thoughts are welcoming
OCD kicks in
Images basted in repetition
Let nostalgia begin
Thinking is your best friend
Unless it takes a turn
As if your mind is overheating
and thoughts start to burn
Whether one is a worrier
Whose thoughts will not cease
Or fathoming the unsolvable
depriving of peace
Then one must break the chain
The best way they know
The serenity prayer has the keys
What to keep or let go.

“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and wisdom to know the difference.”
Reinhold Niebuhr
