Lets E-race our Hate

Let us write a new beginning,

before we E-race our future;

we must learn each others ways,

allowing love to be a suture.

We should always remember,

mistakes that were made;

But be willing to let go,

or bitterness will not fade.

There is no way to make right,

pain suffered from the past;

but if we do not stop our hate,

then our nation may not last.

If we could just hold out our hand,

embracing each other as a friend;

We could see the beauty inside,

goes much deeper than our skin.

We cannot rewrite our history,

and the past we cannot erase;

But if we work to change today,

the future can be a better place...
