There is nothing like grandkids

They get a quick start

Even before they are born

One will steal your heart

Their arrival is long waited

At edge of your seat

Both worry and happiness

For the day you meet

Excited to see your child

Enter parenthood

Experiencing a love

They never understood

Watching the little one grow

Except wiser this time

Aware of the hourglass

Each moment sublime

Being there when you can

To live out the dream

Stopping to smell the roses

Or even ice cream

The pressure cooker is off

With your child’s clone

Father time wont slip up

With grands… its game on
