Give It to God and Let go Some people spend their lives Carrying the past Even after taking it to God A shadow it cast Whether from sins they did Or fell victim too Perhaps forgiving a wrongdoer seems too hard to do Thoughts that were ungodly Actions cannot be undone Words that were unkind Deeds that hurt someone It may be from regrets what one failed to do reliving the inaction from hindsight’s rear view Reconcile all that one can Let the other go God will heal one from within Let Forgiveness flow God wants us in the present not the pasts unrest when He forgives it is gone from the East to West
