Grandpa took us fishing

my sister, cousins and I

camping at Oconne Park

we wanted fish to fry

guarantee youll catch the limit

These words I recall

Two guys said about Burrels Ford

they bite there best of all.

we loaded up our fishing gear

rods and reels and the like

we must have fished for hours

with not a single strike

Grandpa was determined

To make our trip a success

So he took us to trout farm

and paid dearly for a mess

He then played a little trick

to those who told us to go

when they saw our fish dangling

guess what they wanted to know

where did yaul go fishing

with a half truth in accord

we said right where you told us
