Choosing a person for a relationship

try to select with care

It may appear like a great deal

while caught in a snare

So attracted to this model

the beauty it portrayed

Discovering contradictions

the label it displayed

Thinking this one is perfect

It was loaded in luxury

finding out it runs hot often

temperatures rise in degree

Fully free of scrapes and dents

A body free of flaws, no doubt

But just beneath the outer shell

the foundations is rusted out

Thinking neighbors will be jealous

wishing they had one like it too

Instead they are more concerned

with the change it made in you

So to help one make a wise choice

be cautious and use care

Don’t become caught off guard
