A Mother's Love

A mother's love is endless

a refuge for distress

She makes a home nostalgic

with her tenderness

there is not a tear which falls

that a mother cannot dry

she senses pain in conception

as clouds form in the eye

As she guides her's to the future

she scolds only out of love

like a mother bird that is nesting

she can give a stern shove

Always there to lend a hand

nothing can hold her back

willing to go against the wind

not fearing the impact

She can find hope in all things

her's rest in wings of grace

A mother picks up her fallen

with a warm embrace
